FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Our anthracite copper bar & food truck is the basis of our street food festival. It’s always there. This allows us to easily provide up to 200 guests with sufficient street food and drinks. Depending on the budget and the number of people, we can of course always provide multiple trucks. These can be our own food trucks, we currently have about 8 cool trucks, or we even bring in some of our  colleagues . Please allow for an increase in the budget of at least €300 for each additional food truck on a weekday. On a Saturday this will probably affect the budget even more. We always make you a quote with the most affordable setup. If you wish to expand with more food trucks afterwards, we will be happy to adapt our proposal.

The price for food & drinks is always as stated on the website. Only the discount or additional fixed price offered may still differ. On a Saturday during the high season, parties of less than 125 people will be charged a significant fee. If you have a party on a weekday in the low season for the same number of people, a discount will probably be offered. The distance from your party location to our base in Kasterlee is also important in this calculation.

We are very clear about this, you have come to the right place for a cool background tune. No more, and certainly no less. If you want to have a dance party that will make your ears ring, or if you have rented a room and want to have a good time inside, you need a DJ with his own installation.

That’s for sure! We always bring enough food & drinks for the specified number of people. And by enough food we mean a full meal of street and finger food. Our years of experience in the catering sector means that we can estimate this perfectly for you. You can change the number of people up to 1 week in advance. However… if we notice that there are more people present than previously stated, we reserve the right to advance the agreed end time. If it is clearly communicated in advance that the number of people is difficult to estimate, we will find a solution for this.

Together with you, we naturally hope for bright skies. The fact is that unfortunately this cannot always be guaranteed in Belgium. If the party is in danger of falling into the water due to sudden rainfall, we will serve the snacks to keep your guests dry. We do not provide tents, so it is best to contact a specialized company.

Our motto! Expect good weather but be prepared for rain….

The best of both worlds, why not? We serve all our street food dishes in finger food portions. More than enough for everyone, that’s how we are! No one will go home hungry…

The dimensions of our food trucks

Street food truck : anthracite/copper truck with music/food/drinks: 8.7m long / 2.7m wide / 3m high. When unfolded, it becomes 4.4 m wide

Finger food truck : you know this one: 6m long / 2.5m wide / 3.3m high

Bourgeois caravans : these were built between 1960 and 1975 by the Bourgeois family from Ostend. At the time, they built the Belgian Airstreams with great passion. In recent years we have converted several of them into professional food trucks. With great respect for the original, of course. We have these in 3 sizes. 4, 5 or 6 m long / 1.8 m wide / 2.4 m high

It goes without saying that we take all kinds of allergies into account as much as possible. Please note that we always ask you to provide this well in advance and in a well-described manner. This gives us the opportunity to make any adjustments or provide alternatives. To be on the safe side, we also ask that the person with a specific allergy come and introduce themselves in person.

Zolang we onze truck(s) tot op de gewenste locatie kunnen manoeuvreren is niets ons te gek. In een ruime tuin, een idyllisch bos met aan de rand een voor een kleine vrachtwagen toegankelijke plaats, een romantisch plaatsje aan het water, de parking van je bedrijf of zelfs in je bedrijf, aan je favoriete feestzaal of de binnenplaats van een heus kasteel… wij staan voor alles open zolang het effectief haalbaar is! ‘Speciallekes’ vooraf best te bespreken om niet voor verrassingen te komen staan. Drassige weilanden zijn helaas niet geschikt-)

Een voorschot is niet verplicht. U kunt tot 6 dagen vooraf per overschrijving betalen, of cash op de dag zelf. Voor bedrijven voorzien we de mogelijkheid achteraf via overschrijving te betalen. De keuze is aan u.

Om deze vraag te beantwoorden hebben we een handige tool ontworpen zodat we ons van bij het eerste contact een beter beeld van jouw foodtruck feest kunnen vormen. Laat ons beginnen met wat we standaard meebrengen: Bordjes, bestek, passende glazen, ijs, muziek, voldoende medewerkers (met ervaring), de sfeer…alles wat nodig, om uw gasten van eten, drinken & een goed humeur te voorzien brengen we mee. Vintage stoelen en tafels, een bloemetje op tafel is apart bij te bestellen. De locatie, elektriciteit, verlichting, een tent of zaal dien je zelf te voorzien.

Die vraag krijgen we regelmatig, maar helaas. In het verleden hebben wij hier onaangename ervaringen mee gehad. Te weinig drank, niet goed gekoeld, … Dat doen we dus liever niet meer. We hebben een reputatie hoog te houden, weet je wel…
